hi this was ages ago but i think its what broght my cofindence down. i wont mechen the name but what happend was when we were doing guy fawks stuff someone from our table hade to go on hot seet. i asked if i wanted to do it but someone in my class put me in a papper rock sisers game. i one each time so he asked me the qustions. i was a bit silly with it because he wasent surpost to do that enyway and that person said i wasent smart enough. witch upset me so i just diddent do it. i should of told the teacher but i diddent.

Hi i told you i was going to talk every day. i went on the adventure playground today. but i think so to but me and georgia pra and other people think its not fare that one table froom every class. we think that it should be a whole class every day.

What a really fantastic school we have, we are all so very proud of it, especially our children. The chickens have been a real hit with everyone and are laying plenty of eggs. Just wait until we get the wormerie and the ant house! Hope everyone has a fun half term.

I was a pupil at cowes primary from 1940-1946 when it was in denmark road
also it extended to the school know as cross street. The teachers that were
there, effie jones, a real dragon,miss ball,mrs spencer,mr moth. as you can
imagine we had names for some bouncy ball, butter fly, I hated the place glad to leave for ward avenue

Hello Everyone back in Cowes,
I hope everything is going really well as you begin your summer term. Farewell to Mr Montgomerie on his retirement, I imagine the school seems strange without him. We are now starting our final 7 weeks of school here in America. The students finish for the summer on June 18th, 2004 and I am looking forward to having a long summer holiday. We are all very busy though as my class has state tests in Language and Math at the end of this month; they are a bit similar to SATs. Good luck to everyone in Years 2 and 4 for their SATs later this month, and to Year 3 for their CATs.

Thank you so much Aaron for coming to Mr. Montgomerie's retirement evening. He was truly delighted to see you and other Admiral's Trophy winners like Emma Hendey, Rebekah Coleman, Carl Nash and Charlotte Currie. The Admiral himself was also delighted to be able to meet you again and we hope he will come back to award the trophy again in the summer. Thank you for contributing towards Mr. Montgomerie's retirement gift - it was so kind of you.

Unfortunately Margaret Williams did not leave an email address in order to receive a personal letter of thanks but I would like her to know that content of her email meant a great deal to Mr. Montgomerie. I read it out at the special retirement evening and the Chief Education Officer remarked that it is the excellent comments like these from parents and childen that highlight a good school, far more than any formal inspection. Thank you very much Mrs. Williams for your great support! We would be very pleased to know where Samuel has been and what interests he has developed since he left our school.

To Mr Montgomerie, I hope you have a nice retirement. I will really miss you and your French club. My brother Keiron and I think you are a very nice headmaster and will miss you. Good luck in the future, dont forget to come back and see us some time

I am sorry that you are leaving. I know that you will be missed by everyone at the school. I would like to thank you for all you did for me during my time at Cowes Primary. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a long and happy retirement.

I came to watch my brother tom in the keystage2 concert. It was great. happy retirement mr. Montgomerie you deserve it. from carl and everyone that used to come to cowes primary.

I was internet surfing today and decided to visit your site. You see, my family used to live in Cowes in 1999-2000 and my son Samuel was fortunate enough to attend Cowes Primary. I am writing today to wish Mr. Montgomerie a happy retirement. He is one of the reasons that my son's experience in the IOW was so positive. We have travelled to many places and attended many schools in Canada, the US and of course the UK but have never met a "head master", that took the time to know his students my name and be such a positive role model!! Good Luck Mr. Montgomerie.

Hello to EVERYONE back home in Cowes! I just spent a very enjoyable while clicking through the site. I loved the pictures from Little Canada and hope that everyone had a great time - despite the adventure playground. Thankyou to the girls for the postcard they sent - and to all the children who have emailed me! I am having a great time here in Massachusetts and look forward to telling you more about it sometime. The children, teachers, faculty and parents of Pine Hill School, Sherborn, MA are all very interested in Cowes primary School and we will be sending letters to Ms Lundquist's class in the next few days! It was good fun looking at all of the Easter egg's and the pictures of the school.

I think that the idea of having a web site for COWES COUNTY PRIMARY SCHOOL is good but doesn't live up to expectations as the Gurnard Primary School site has educational games, online chat rooms(only for Gurnard residants - ofcourse!) and digital art rooms and encyclopedias. But again, an exelant idea!
